How high can a tower be built? Well, that almost entirely depends on the foundation. If you give the tower a solid foundation, that tower can touch the sky. Our little ones are pretty much the same. While there is this new rush to get young children reading, writing, and computing mathematical facts fast. We must first address the foundation on which we can build these concrete mathematical concepts.
This workshop will give the child a grounded foundation in Math, through play and progressively designed activities.

The Sowing Seeds of Math Program is based on CPA (Concrete – Pictorial- Abstract) approach. Children need to hold mathematical concepts in their hands before they hold them in their minds. Through this program you will come to know about the scope and sequence of learning different counting stages based on your child’s prior knowledge.
In this small group session, you will learn counting strategies, number sense and other important mathematical concepts. Also, to learn about early pitfalls, in learning how to count and what to do to overcome them.
You will be provided with soft copies of files explaining each stage in detail and printable activities.
